Sequalitchew Creek Trail Re-Opens

According to DuPont’s City Administrator’s Friday Letter, the Sequalitchew Creek Trail was officially re-opened on Friday, March 19 at 3:30 p.m. The trail washed out in January, and required 100 cubic yards of various grades of rock to stabilize the washout area and provide a new surface capable of bearing the weight of emergency vehicles. The repairs included new culverts, curtain drains and a new water inlet for the seep uphill from the trail. More information about the trail repairs including the total cost will be discussed in the April issue of the Home Town Clipper.
