The DuPont PowderWorks Park athletic fields will be closed for scheduled repair and maintenance from June 21st thru June 30th. The fields will reopen for public use on Thursday, July 1st. No practices, games, or other use of the fields will be authorized during this period.

The smell of french fries will permeate the air in DuPont starting at 5 a.m. on May 18 as McDonald’s opens their full service fast food restaurant and drive thru. An official grand opening event will take place on Saturday, May 22 with an appearance of Ronald McDonald himself.
